Virtual Retreat 2023
TCSBC’s Virtual Retreat is a is a 5-day intensive online retreat for string instrumentalists aimed at improving technique and building a creative and artistic foundation. Daily sessions emphasize building and improving a firm technical foundation through technique classes, private lessons, and applied theory; while also focusing on developing well-rounded musicianship through improvisation, workshops, and masterclasses. All levels welcomed! Students will be placed in classes with players of comparable ability.
Date: July 31 - August 4, 2023
Time: 9am-12:30pm (Pacific Time), with one 30-minute private lesson between 1-3pm.
Eligibility: Participants must display a minimum RCM/Suzuki Level 2 and above (students will learn alongside classmates of comparable ability).

Personal Feedback
In addition to group classes, you will receive one live private lesson, as well as daily asynchronous personal feedback on the daily videos you will be required to submit. In the Intermediate/Advanced Seminar, there will also be a chance to sign up to perform in masterclasses with world-renowned guests!
